Senior Engagement Manager – EU

📋 Description

• In the role of Senior Engagement Manager at Albert, you will take ownership of the entire post-sale lifecycle for our key enterprise clients.

• Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that customers experience significant business transformation through Albert, while effectively managing service delivery to meet contracted outcomes on schedule, with high quality, and clear value realization.

• You will serve as the main relationship steward, tasked with driving adoption and value realization, as well as overseeing program delivery, managing timelines, escalating risks, and coordinating internal resources.

• Act as the Transformation Lead for customer initiatives, guaranteeing successful delivery of contracted services.

• Develop and maintain deployment timelines, monitoring progress against established milestones.

• Collaborate with and coordinate Scientific Leads, Delivery Operations, and Technical Operations to ensure seamless execution of workflows and training.

• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.

• Make sure delivery results translate into quantifiable customer value.

• Assist customers in navigating the organizational changes necessary to adopt Albert, including stakeholder mapping, communication strategies, and adoption plans.

• Manage the strategic relationship with enterprise clients post-sale throughout their journey with Albert, acting as their trusted advisor.

• Create and implement customer success plans that align with business transformation objectives.

• Promote product adoption across both scientific and operational workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS, Consulting, or the chemical/materials R&D sector in roles covering Program/Project Management or Professional Services.

• Ideally, a Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related scientific/engineering field. An MBA is a plus.

• PMP and/or CAPM certification is advantageous.

• Proven experience in leading programs or portfolios: ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with measurable outcomes.

• Capability to lead and manage intricate programs, ensuring objectives are met in a timely manner while liaising with multiple stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of Chemistry and Materials Science, along with familiarity with the broader chemicals industry is preferred.

• Ability to analyze customer data and leverage insights to inform decisions and actions.

• Strong familiarity with change management frameworks (ADKAR, Prosci, Kotter) is highly preferred, and a passion for change management is essential.

• Excellent relationship-building skills, with the capacity to establish trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience in fostering long-term (multi-year) partnerships is crucial.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating effective interactions with clients, technical teams, and executives.

• Strong understanding of R&D IT ecosystems: ELN/LIMS, PLM, ERP, and analytics tools.

• Willingness to travel approximately 20 to 50% (North America and Europe).
