Senior Energy Consultant – Renewable Engineering Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with project teams to deliver technical consulting and advisory services to power project developers.

• Assist in the development of new utility-scale solar, wind, gas, battery energy storage, and other projects.

• Perform independent engineering and due diligence services for lenders and investors.

• Carry out technical, economic, and market analyses for grid operators, utilities, and research organizations.

• Create planning studies and business cases for utilities, independent power producers, and governmental bodies.

• Participate in direct interactions with power plant developers, owners, lenders, and investors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering (other engineering fields may be considered).

• A minimum of 10 years of experience within the power sector.

• Experience in designing utility-scale solar, wind, or battery energy storage projects.

• Proficiency in independent engineering and due diligence services for power projects.

• Background in power project development.

• Experience in managing construction for solar, wind, or battery energy storage projects.

• Familiarity with project finance or financial modeling related to power projects is advantageous.

• Experience with owner’s engineering tasks during power project execution is beneficial.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience in drafting technical reports and proposals.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to collaborate and lead others.

• Competence in project planning and leadership.
