Senior Energy Consultant – Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate projects or tasks that may involve statistical analyses, examination of fuel and utility bills, estimation of energy efficiency savings and costs, measure engineering analysis, program benefit-cost analysis, program development and planning, evaluation analysis, market research, survey design, and secondary research.

• Supervise and/or independently conduct a diverse array of highly complex analyses related to energy.

• Effectively manage assigned tasks, analyses, and projects to meet client expectations.

• Create project deliverables such as written memos, reports, and presentations while overseeing the QA/QC process to ensure client satisfaction.

• Clearly and effectively communicate analytical methods and findings to clients.

• Conduct QA/QC on complex analyses performed by others to guarantee high-quality, sensible, and error-free deliverables.

• Sanction technical decisions pertaining to intricate research, planning, and data analysis.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance productivity and foster future opportunities.

• Formulate and implement analysis plans for complex tasks and/or projects.

• Cultivate and demonstrate expertise in a selected practice area by remaining at the forefront of industry methods and innovations.

• Mentor and support junior staff in analysis and project activities.

• Contribute to business development efforts and proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Economics, Public Policy, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of experience in consulting within the energy or utilities sector, leading complex, analytics-driven projects that evaluate energy usage, efficiency, or demand response programs, or equivalent experience.
