Senior Embedded Solution Architect – Automotive, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate technical workshops for clients

• Evaluate and analyze current system and software architectures

• Create target architectures and conceptual solutions

• Offer consulting services on ADAS, infotainment, and HPC systems

• Assist in tender processes (RFQs) and support technical decision-making

• Provide technical guidance for projects while coordinating with clients and partners

• Communicate intricate technical information to management and teams

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in automotive development

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or System Architect

• Proficiency in various domains: ADAS, Infotainment (IVI), HPC / Domain Controllers

• Familiarity with AUTOSAR, QNX, Embedded Linux, or Android Automotive

• Knowledge of hypervisor technologies or automotive cybersecurity

• Experience with SoC platforms such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, or Renesas

• Experience working on projects with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers

• Fluency in both German and English

• Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with mixed-criticality systems

• Understanding of SOME/IP, DDS, TSN, or Automotive Ethernet

• Experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) or Security
