Senior Embedded Linux Engineer, C, IoT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain client software for IoT using C programming language.

• Integrate various devices with cloud platforms, including AWS or similar alternatives.

• Engage in the development of user-space applications on embedded Linux.

• Set up and manage build environments utilizing Yocto or Buildroot.

• Play a role in creating an alternative solution for cloud connectivity, such as one based on thin-edge.io.

⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent command of C programming.

• Significant experience in Linux development, particularly with Embedded Linux and user-space applications.

• Practical experience with the AWS IoT SDK, preferably in C.

• Familiarity with build systems like Yocto and/or Buildroot.

• Proficient in shell scripting, specifically Bash.

• Knowledge of IoT device development principles.
