Senior Embedded Architect, Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, develop, and implement hardware and software architecture solutions that comply with both internal and external security standards and requirements.

• Utilize innovative hardware security techniques to facilitate next-generation secure software extensions that are supported by hardware.

• Partner with collaborators to implement open-source software solutions.

• Work collaboratively across NVIDIA to influence the development of I/O interfaces such as USB, I2C, I3C, UART, and PCI, engaging with hardware, software, research, and product teams.

• Execute architectural modeling and validation processes.

• Define microarchitecture, adhere to standards set by governing bodies, and create infrastructure that enables trusted platforms through hardware security techniques.

• Collaborate with clients and partners to identify and resolve security challenges and threats.

• Engage actively with various NVIDIA teams and external partners in a hands-on capacity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Over 12 years of relevant professional experience.

• Practical experience with I/O interfaces including I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, and PCIe.

• Knowledge of computing platform boot architecture in embedded devices and servers.

• Familiarity with RISC-V architecture, root-of-trust concepts, and security processors.

• Understanding of embedded systems and proficiency in programming low-level firmware.

• Awareness of hardware security-by-design principles and privilege concepts.

• Proficiency in programming and debugging with Verilog, Python/Perl scripting, ARM assembly, and C/C++.

• Capability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork.
