This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise all facets of large-scale, intricate Electronic Security Systems (ESS) projects from the initiation phase to completion, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Direct the delivery of physical security systems by managing implementation, coordinating teams, and ensuring adherence to specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• Provide oversight for project management and maintain direct control over cost, quality, schedule, and project management activities.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients; oversee client relationships, expectations, communications, and satisfaction levels.
• Deliver and integrate solutions including CCTV, electronic access control, intrusion detection alarms, and perimeter security systems.
• Utilize knowledge of construction sequencing to identify, qualify, quantify, and communicate construction-related risks.
• Collaborate in design reviews and assist in maintaining accurate field documentation.
• Create schedules, set project baselines, identify deviations, and communicate any impacts to clients.
• Coordinate field verification of potential work sites, ensure compliance with quality control, site readiness, and documentation of site conditions.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, margins, financial risks, and implement corrective actions to uphold profitability.
• Recognize customer concerns and provide solutions to both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist team members with problem-solving, task support, and resource coordination.
• Collaborate with the site supervisor to establish and manage the project work plan and schedule.
• Organize stakeholder activities for system programming and final checks.
• Oversee commissioning of security systems, including planning, execution, testing, documentation, operational verification, and handover to clients.
• Develop and manage punch lists post-substantial completion and resolve outstanding tasks for project closeout.
• Facilitate project turnover and training sessions with clients and the service team.
• Travel frequently by car and occasionally by airplane; local travel to client sites typically constitutes 70–90% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades/settings or experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to repeatable processes and engage in Constant Process Improvement (CPI).
• Experience in driving and delivering waterfall schedules to a fixed delivery date while monitoring and controlling projects for quality and profitability.
• Background in a client-facing role with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong technical skills with a quick ability to learn new technologies.
• Experience working with or for Enterprise-level clients.
• Understanding of when and how to apply Agile methodologies within a waterfall framework.
• Solid grasp of PMP methodologies and best practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Capability to work on construction sites, spend at least 40% of the time on foot, occasionally climb ladders, use stairs, lift or move materials up to 20 pounds, and operate keyboards, test equipment, and controls.
• Ability to adhere to job-site safety regulations.
• Preferred: Project Management experience with large, complex technical projects within a scaled program.
• Preferred: Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS).
• Preferred: Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM).
• Preferred: PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
• PPE is typically required on job sites.
• Standard office conditions and use of office equipment when not on construction sites.
