Senior Electrical Product Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Plan and create diagnostic tests and debugging procedures for next-generation products utilizing high-speed networks and signals.

• Troubleshoot intricate interactions among hardware, firmware, and software on defective boards during system power-up and boot handshakes.

• Propose, advocate for, and ensure adherence to DFx requirements for reliable signal integrity performance across layouts, mechanical components, and assembly processes.

• Develop and provide system-level manufacturing test specifications for new products.

• Collaborate with contract manufacturers to establish assembly lines, testing stations, and assembly fixtures optimized for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

• Create solutions and Work Assessment Reports (WARs) through extensive data analysis and laboratory experimentation to tackle yield and testing issues.

• Lead the optimization and ongoing enhancement of production screen specification processes.

• Assist customer-facing and quality assurance teams in addressing partner concerns and coverage gaps.

• Launch NVIDIA HGX GPU-accelerated server platforms and productize GPU boards for data center architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of substantial industry experience.

• Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles.

• Familiarity with digital design, signal integrity, statistics, timing analysis, fault analysis, sampling, and computer architecture.

• Previous experience in board/system-level electrical design.

• Proficiency with Perl, C/C++, Windows, and Linux.
