Senior Electrical Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement electrical designs for large-scale data centers from the initial design phase through to construction support.

• Design MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, grounding, lighting, and monitoring systems.

• Conduct load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analyses utilizing SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.

• Evaluate drawings, calculations, and vendor documents for precision and adherence to standards.

• Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams on modeling and coordinating electrical systems.

• Ensure adherence to NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and specific client standards.

• Assist in QA/QC reviews and carry out internal design evaluations.

• Address RFIs, assess submittals, and provide support for field activities during construction.

• Engage in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

• Take responsibility for assigned deliverables, offer technical guidance during multidisciplinary coordination, and mentor junior staff as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

• Over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a robust background in utility, industrial, or mission-critical facilities, including data centers, BESS, substations, or power plants.

• Practical expertise in MV/LV power distribution, emergency/backup power systems, protective relaying, and redundancy strategies.

• Proficient in using SKM, ETAP, or similar tools for system analysis.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.

• Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and utility interconnection guidelines.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; multi-state licensure is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills; capable of working efficiently in collaborative and remote settings.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
