This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversight of the BAU Electric Project Delivery Team, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Directly manage key BAU Electrical Projects to assist with team workload, including during absences or annual leave.
• Collaborate with the Head of Technical to implement and uphold the Authorised Connection Provider Process.
• Responsible for maintaining drawing records and documentation to support compliance with the Distribution Safety Rules (DSR) throughout project execution.
• Tasked with sustaining an efficient team structure to fulfill business requirements for the safe adoption and construction delivery activities of BAU Electric Project Delivery.
• Accountable for the delivery of all necessary documentation by the BAU Electric Project Delivery Team for the entire Electrical Delivery Process until final asset handover.
• Ensure that BAU Electric Project Delivery assists in both Sales and Delivery customer meetings regarding operational and technical issues, including broader Sales tender activities.
• Ensure all design activities within BAU Electric Project Delivery are performed by accredited third parties and documented in compliance with Guaranteed Standards of Performance (GSOP).
• Manage and verify the allocation of capital budgets against all projects handled by BAU Electric Project Managers.
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, including timely management of purchase orders, invoice reviews, and variance reporting across all BAU Electrical Project Delivery operations.
• Ensure that the team effectively resolves any issues or defects using company systems and procedures to meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth asset handover, with all documentation and contracts in order, while ensuring that installation standards and pre-energisation commissioning and testing comply with regulatory requirements.
• Provide ad hoc operational assistance to the Sales Team and Head of Project Delivery regarding all site inquiries or escalations related to BAU Electric Projects.
• Implement strong processes and reporting mechanisms to identify, report, and mitigate business risks throughout the Project lifecycle.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management role within an ICP or Electrical Infrastructure Company.
• Proven experience in the design and construction of electrical infrastructure, encompassing both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV).
• Strong understanding of the Electrical Industry and IDNO process.
• Excellent knowledge of multi-utility industry asset standards, such as NJUG.
• Experience in commercial contract management (or relevant qualifications).
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing team members.
• Financial literacy and a history of adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of health and safety management and audits.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory standards applicable to the business and the necessary compliance processes.
• Expert knowledge of asset adoption and delivery legal obligations.
• Proficient computer and reporting skills.
