This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Proven experience in promoting and fostering a robust safety and quality culture throughout the organization.
• Conduct regular visits to branches and field locations to achieve the volume and quantity objectives established by your direct supervisor.
• Demonstrated success in training, coaching, developing, and mentoring field personnel.
• Carry out field safety and quality inspections as necessary through Vector.
• Frequently conduct and facilitate training sessions (such as New Hire Onboarding or Battery Training) to meet the volume and quantity goals set by the organization.
• Serve as the Lead Trainer, supporting Secondary Trainers.
• Actively contribute to a strong team culture by being open to providing constructive feedback, setting objectives, and offering coaching and training.
• Exceptional ability to adhere to and enhance strong operating structures and support systems, ensuring that Operations Leaders and field personnel remain organized and focused on maximizing impact for the company and their regions.
• Collaborate in a team setting to learn, develop, and instruct on installation and safety requirements at both branch and regional levels.
• Established track record of forming solid partnerships with Operations Leaders and field personnel to effectively enhance safety, quality, and PTO health organization-wide.
• Assist in standardizing material usage and installation techniques for residential solar, battery, and electrification projects.
• Provide feedback on the revision of existing materials and the creation of new field training documentation.
• Strong capability to analyze safety, quality, FIC, hrs/kW, and PTO health KPIs to identify areas for improvement and take action by formulating an improvement plan.
• Consistently evaluate and track the performance and progress of the improvement plan while collaborating with Operations Leaders and field personnel to drive advancements in the aforementioned KPIs.
• Conduct Regional End of Month Readouts emphasizing performance metrics, highlighting areas of success and identifying areas for improvement in your region.
• Excellent ability to lead training sessions via conference calls, in branch offices, in the field, and within training facilities.
• Expertise in Construction Standard Operating Procedures for all products (PV-Only and Solar+Storage).
• Comprehensive knowledge of all energy storage products.
• Proficiency in all Safety Operating Procedures and products.
• Contribute to investigations of safety incidents.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with other departments and teams, meet deadlines, and ensure accountability for deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, utilizing computers and software to collect and input essential information.
• Act as a mentor to Associate Efficiency and Training Specialists.
• Responsible for any other necessary tasks that drive our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and align with our Organization’s Values.
• Willingness to travel 30% to 60% of the time.
• Self-motivated and eager to embrace new projects while working with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional adaptability to change.
• Bachelor's degree or Journeyman electrician's license or master Electrician level certification (preferred).
• Must maintain a clean driving record and be able to pass a driving background check.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Background in construction safety and possession of an OSHA training certificate.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the solar sector.
• Must be a proactive team player, committed to success and making a difference.
• Enjoy working with others, and have a passion for learning and teaching.
• Ability to facilitate engaging, impactful, and valuable training experiences.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with residential solar and battery installation techniques and materials.
• Basic knowledge of PV solar design principles.
• Professional demeanor and proficiency in customer interactions.
• Strong work ethic and high standards of craftsmanship/workmanship (keen attention to detail).
• Previous experience in creating technical documentation, including bulletins, webinar content, and presentations.
• Possess strong mechanical and construction skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and documentation abilities.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of the NEC and relevant codes and standards.
• NABCEP Certification is a plus.
• Proficient in GoogleSuite applications or equivalent (Microsoft Excel and Word) and Salesforce.
