Senior Editorial Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of written, audio, and video content across owned channels.

• Conceptualize, organize, and lead compelling content that enhances SEO positioning and boosts community interaction.

• Supervise the Social & Community Manager as well as freelance writers.

• Formulate an SEO-centric content strategy.

• Take charge of the BOXED YouTube channel strategy and video production.

• Develop a comprehensive social media and community strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, journalism, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated success in building and scaling content programs that generate organic traffic, enhance community engagement, and increase downstream product interaction.

• Previous experience as an editor-in-chief or managing editor is essential.

• Experience in managing people is required.

• Familiarity with collectibles, trading card games, sports, gaming, or another passion-driven industry is highly preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices, content analytics, and industry tools (e.g., Ahrefs or SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, YouTube Studio, Northbeam, modern CMS platforms).

• Must be well-versed in major social media platforms (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and their respective analytics tools.
