This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Develop our content library by planning and creating a cohesive, lasting collection of assets — including articles, data stories, interactive tools, guides, and videos — tailored to the relevant personas and journeys, and prioritized based on their impact.
• Craft the narratives that characterize Remote. Create engaging stories for audiences in HR and finance, simplifying complex subjects like compliance, foreign exchange, worker classification, and global hiring into content that is appealing and shareable.
• Establish our thought leadership and storytelling framework. Construct a unique perspective and style that distinguishes Remote from its competitors, appealing to everyone from CFOs concerned about audits to People leaders expanding into new markets.
• Transform data and expertise into compelling content. Collaborate with insights and product teams to uncover the narrative hidden in the data and develop materials that are grounded in evidence and a robust thesis.
• Work alongside experts and executives. Conduct interviews, ghostwrite for, and curate the knowledge of internal specialists, executives, and external partners into content that educates, motivates, and converts.
• Maintain quality and consistency. Ensure a high standard of craft, voice, and accuracy in all published materials, and establish a clear strategy for cadence and channel distribution.
• An experienced content marketer who has established editorial direction in B2B companies, rather than merely executing it.
• A skilled writer at the peak of their profession, possessing a clear, evidence-driven voice and a strong narrative sense (background in journalism or editorial work is advantageous).
• Strong commercial acumen: you connect content to specific personas, pain points, funnel stages, and measurable outcomes — and can justify those decisions.
• Proficient across B2B SaaS audiences in HR, finance, fintech, payroll, or compliance-related fields — or possess the curiosity and diligence to quickly master a technical category.
• Comfortable with data: you can analyze a data pack, identify the story, highlight the key statistic, and outline the visuals that effectively communicate it.
• A collaborative interviewer who can extract insights from busy experts and transform them into content that reflects their voice, but is sharper.
• Strong self-direction and ownership within an asynchronous, globally distributed team.
