Senior EDI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, document, test, and debug both new and existing EDI systems and applications.

• Provide support and maintenance for EDIFECS-based healthcare clearinghouse platforms.

• Conduct CAQH CORE validation and compliance activities.

• Configure and validate firewall rules.

• Implement recurring ECL releases (quarterly and annual) across various environments.

• Convert business requirements into system definitions and technical solutions.

• Develop comprehensive technical specifications based on conceptual designs and stated requirements.

• Engage in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in accordance with CMMI Level 3 practices.

• Analyze system configurations and end-to-end transactional mappings to identify and resolve issues.

• Maintain configuration and version control through Azure DevOps.

• Support and manage ETL platforms across multiple Medicaid state implementations.

• Review and address both critical and non-critical system alerts.

• Configure and map ANSI X12N 5010 transaction sets.

• Participate in CMMI audits and quality reviews.

• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of total work experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Proven experience with EDIFECS in a healthcare EDI setting.

• In-depth understanding of ANSI X12N 5010 transaction sets.

• Experience with Linux, relational databases, reporting tools, and ETL platforms.

• Proficient in using Azure DevOps for configuration and version control.

• Working knowledge of CAQH CORE certification requirements.

• Familiarity with CMMI standard practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
