Senior EDC Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Design, validate, and sustain programming solutions for CDMS and EDC systems like Rave/Veeva, along with data validation outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and clinical trial programs utilizing SAS, R, and/or Python.

• Create and manage programs for processing external vendor data using SAS, R, and/or SQL.

• Collaborate with data managers, project managers, clinical data scientists, and biostatisticians to incorporate programming solutions into the overall data management framework.

• Serve as the main contact for system programming inquiries during study setup and ongoing maintenance.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing through presentations and the development of training materials.

• Extract data from CDMS and develop data transfer programs.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior programmers assigned to various projects.

• Contribute to enhancements of technical systems and processes in a Subject Matter Expert (SME) capacity.

• Keep up-to-date with programming languages and data management tools to enhance operational efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in EDC programming (Medidata Rave and/or Veeva) for data validation outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and clinical trial programs.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (R, Python, SAS and/or SQL).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills, with a proven capacity to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a dedication to delivering high-quality results.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is located.
