This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a recognized authority in economic mobility research, particularly in areas such as TANF, workforce/job readiness, child support, food security, and related human services programs.
β’ Oversee the design, execution, and management of comprehensive research and evaluation initiatives.
β’ Supervise and mentor interdisciplinary research teams.
β’ Offer strategic direction to research and technical assistance teams.
β’ Develop research agendas, methodologies, and evaluation frameworks.
β’ Identify and pursue new opportunities that align with ICFβs mission.
β’ Convert complex research outcomes into actionable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders.
β’ Encourage innovation and drive high performance across diverse teams.
β’ Contribute to thought leadership through publications, presentations, and engagement with the wider field.
β’ An advanced degree in political science, public policy, sociology, economics, or a related social science discipline.
β’ Over 15 years of experience in leading research, evaluation, and policy initiatives focused on economic mobility and family well-being.
β’ A track record of peer-reviewed publications and recognized thought leadership in economic mobility research.
β’ Proven expertise in working with federal, state, or local human services programs.
β’ Demonstrated capability to lead and influence within complex, fast-paced, and matrixed environments.
β’ Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance overarching vision with detailed execution.
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ Proven history of peer-reviewed publications, technical writing, and presentations at the executive level.
β’ Proficient in driving business growth, establishing partnerships, and navigating federal and state procurement systems.
β’ Highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
β’ Willingness to work in a flexible, on-call capacity (0β20 hours/week).
β’ Part-time, on-call work arrangement dependent on project requirements.
