This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversees and manages sales initiatives for various communities and products across Districts, Major Markets, Clusters, and independent communities.
• Supervises one or more District Sales and Marketing Directors, Regional Sales and Marketing Managers, or M3 Sales Leaders.
• Accountable for achieving and surpassing occupancy and revenue targets while ensuring adherence to operational policies.
• Provides guidance in the creation and oversight of marketing strategies and budgets.
• Successfully meets and exceeds all occupancy and revenue objectives.
• Coordinates sales strategies and optimizes the use of marketing budget dollars to enhance media efficiencies.
• Aids in the recruitment, hiring, training, and coaching of all marketing personnel across the managed communities.
• Conducts scheduled visits to each community within the district to collaborate with on-site marketing teams and Executive Directors.
• Performs quality assurance calls on all marketing staff involved in sales, including business development outreach, and evaluates competitive data for community personnel.
• Represents Brookdale positively and exemplifies the company’s standards for excellence.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• A minimum of five to ten years of experience in marketing and sales is essential.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or the hospitality industry is preferred, with at least five years in a multi-community management role.
• Frequent travel by car necessitates that the candidate possesses and maintains a valid driver's license.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends, with travel requirements of up to 70% by air or car.
• Demonstrates strong analytical abilities and a thorough understanding of the organization and its business to effectively address emerging challenges.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software is required.
• Understanding of principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services, including sales and marketing strategies and techniques, as well as product demonstrations.
• Must maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks, possess the ability to work independently, and manage time efficiently.
• Should demonstrate a high degree of initiative and creativity, sound judgment, professional ethics, and possess excellent communication skills to inspire and develop staff across all product lines and roles.
• Strong management skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with operations partners and other functional areas.
