📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and retain a specialized team focused on Workday Financials and PSA.

• Create a scalable team and delivery model that aligns with platform complexity and supports enterprise growth.

• Provide robust technical and functional leadership across various projects, enhancements, and operations.

• Foster strong internal capabilities while strategically leveraging external partners when necessary.

• Oversee relationships with Workday vendors, system integrators, and advisory partners.

• Take responsibility for the overall strategy, health, and evolution of the Workday Financials and PSA platform.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and platform leaders to establish and enforce SDLC, coding standards, and architectural principles.

• Ensure high-quality delivery for Workday Financials and PSA, balancing execution speed with long-term architectural integrity.

• Manage Workday release cycles, regression testing, and feature adoption processes.

• Guarantee alignment of Workday Financials and PSA with enterprise data, integration, and security standards.

• Contribute to multi-year technology roadmaps encompassing Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake, and other related finance platforms.

• Aid in developing a repeatable M&A Runbook for Financials and PSA teams.

• Act as a senior subject-matter expert in Workday regarding business processes, configuration patterns, workflows, and reporting design.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of Workday data models, dimensions, and data elements.

• Lead Workday integrations and data onboarding related to acquisitions.

• Champion initiatives that utilize advanced analytics and intelligent automation within Finance and PSA platforms to enhance efficiency and scalability.

• Serve as a trusted IT partner to the CFO, Controller, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Operations leadership.

• Support fundamental financial processes including closing, reporting, budgeting, and planning (Workday and Adaptive).

• Drive the automation of accounting-related processes such as banking, reconciliation, settlement, and cash application.

• Collaborate with Finance to streamline and improve intercompany accounting processes.

• Own and manage bank integrations and related controls.

• Build and maintain Workday data models, dimensions, and data elements to enable precise analysis.

• Provide executive oversight and functional leadership for Workday PSA.

• Ensure effective alignment between PSA, Financials, and downstream revenue recognition processes.

• Work with Salesforce and Commercial Systems teams to enhance the end-to-end contract-to-cash lifecycle.

• Minimize manual handoffs and system fragmentation across quoting, projects, billing, and revenue workflows.

• Lead initiatives to assess and implement machine learning and intelligent automation capabilities that would enhance efficiency in the Finance function.

• Establish and maintain a financial systems governance framework suitable for a public company.

• Ensure SOX compliance for Workday-related controls, including access management, change management, and segregation of duties.

• Collaborate with Internal Audit on control testing, remediation, and audit preparedness.

• Oversee Workday security architecture, including role-based access, segregation of duties design, and provisioning workflows.

• Partner with Cybersecurity and Internal Audit on platform security design and risk management.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in leading enterprise financial systems, specifically Workday Financials and/or PSA.

• At least 5 years in a leadership position managing ERP or financial systems teams.

• Strong financial accounting expertise with over 5 years supporting core accounting processes (record-to-report, intercompany, close).

• Experience working within a publicly traded company with SOX and audit obligations.

• Proven ability to collaborate with senior Finance leadership as a trusted advisor.

• Experience leading platform transformations, optimizations, or new implementations.

• Background in supporting environments with high acquisition activity.
