Senior Director, Vaccines Retail Channel Medical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• The Senior Director, Vaccines Retail Channel Medical Lead serves as a senior, field-based medical authority within the Vaccines Field Medical organization, overseeing enterprise-level medical engagement throughout the U.S. retail pharmacy and healthcare channels.

• Facilitate the creation and dissemination of objective, scientifically robust medical information specifically designed for national retail partners, focusing on Pfizer’s vaccines and the diseases they prevent.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional medical partners to pinpoint vaccine-specific educational and project requirements.

• Compliantly implement mutually beneficial, stakeholder-specific medical initiatives, collaborations, strategic partnerships, and non-interventional studies that correspond with vaccine-related business and public health demands.

• Develop and maintain strategic, long-term medical partnerships with national and regional retail pharmacy chains and healthcare organizations that impact vaccination delivery models, access strategies, and population-level immunization outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• An MD/DO degree is required along with 5+ years of pertinent experience.

• Extensive experience in Medical Affairs and/or Field Medical roles with proven senior-level responsibilities in retail pharmacy, retail healthcare, access-focused, or system-level medical engagement.

• Proven track record of successfully engaging large national or regional retail pharmacy and healthcare organizations that feature complex operational and governance structures.

• In-depth understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, vaccine policy landscape, and retail vaccination frameworks, including considerations for high-volume delivery and access.

• Demonstrated capability to effectively function as a senior individual contributor in highly matrixed enterprise settings and drive results through influence without direct organizational authority.

• Exhibited strategic thinking, scientific leadership, and executive presence to bolster enterprise-level retail strategy and execution.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead impactful scientific discussions with senior retail clinical, operational, and corporate stakeholders.
