
Senior Director, US Vaccines Contracting, Pricing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Formulate strategies and innovative models for contracting within the US utilizing Pfizer’s comprehensive vaccine portfolio.
• Establish a robust US contracting plan and foster key customer relationships.
• Create strategies and partnership frameworks aimed at enhancing patient access to Pfizer vaccines.
• Develop contracting models tailored for US Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), including hybrid government/private contracts.
• Design a strategy to broaden reach to key channels.
• Collaborate with US brand leads, customer engagement leads, New Product Launch teams, and contracting roles to ensure coordinated execution.
• Cultivate an understanding of effective retail-channel engagement, particularly with respect to new technologies.
• Uphold and exemplify Pfizer Values and Compliance Principles.
• Provide effective leadership during periods of change.
• A minimum of 12+ years of proven marketing/commercial experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Preference for candidates with experience in the US market.
• Prior experience with vaccine contracting innovation across retail, IDNs, PBGs, GPOs, HCPs, and other channels is preferred.
• Proven strategic marketing, analytical thinking, and innovation capabilities.
• Previous launch experience is highly desirable.
• Experience thriving in a highly competitive environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams by establishing a shared vision and purpose, while influencing and persuading stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate a clear narrative to achieve alignment with senior leadership.
• Commitment to adhering to applicable compliance rules and regulations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and achieving team objectives.
• Demonstrated capability to lead others effectively through periods of change.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary.
