
Senior Director – US Vaccines Contracting and Pricing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Formulate strategies and innovative models for contracting in the United States for the complete range of Pfizer Vaccines.
• Establish a robust US contracting plan to cultivate key customer relationships while embodying Pfizer Values.
• Create pioneering contracting strategies and frameworks across various segments and brands.
• Devise partnership strategies to enhance patient access to both current and future Pfizer vaccines.
• Construct contracting models for Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and innovate Hybrid Government/Private contracts in the US.
• Develop strategies to boost outreach to priority channels.
• Collaborate with US brand leads, customer engagement teams, New Product Launch groups, and contracting roles to ensure the successful execution of contracting strategies.
• Gain an in-depth understanding of the factors that drive successful retail-channel engagement, especially concerning new technologies.
• Uphold and exemplify Pfizer Values and Compliance Principles.
• Guide others during periods of change and unify senior leadership around a clear narrative.
• A minimum of 12+ years of proven marketing/commercial experience within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Experience in the US market is strongly preferred.
• Preferred experience in vaccine innovation in contracting with retail, IDNs, PBGs, GPOs, HCPs, etc.
• Demonstrated abilities in strategic marketing, analytical thinking, and innovation.
• Prior experience in product launches is highly desirable.
• Strongly desired experience in navigating a highly competitive environment.
• Capability to work effectively within a cross-functional team by establishing a shared vision and purpose, along with influence and persuasion skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey a clear narrative to achieve alignment with senior leadership.
• Firm commitment to complying with all relevant compliance rules and regulations.
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks with urgency and enthusiasm while prioritizing and achieving team objectives.
• Ability to effectively guide others during times of change.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is mandatory.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5% of the base salary.
