Senior Director, Technical Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee programs that achieve essential business objectives while developing large-scale products and platforms.

• Lead the strategy and implementation of extensive, technically intricate, cross-functional programs that align with Capital One's business goals.

• Shape roadmaps, conduct in-depth analysis of system design and architecture, make informed technical trade-offs, and promote platform consolidation.

• Recognize, address, define, and escalate mitigation strategies for challenging technical dependencies.

• Facilitate technology-centered discussions with senior leadership, offering valuable insights and recommendations to inform technology-driven decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• Minimum of 9 years of experience in managing technical programs

• Over 9 years of experience in designing and creating data-intensive solutions utilizing distributed computing.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing architectures, preferably AWS.

• 5+ years of experience in building and leading a skilled Technical Program Management team.

• 5+ years of experience in creating highly scalable mobile products and platforms.

• 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
