This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the growth, revenue strategy, and development of Opportunity@Work's primary coalition focused on promoting skills-based hiring and enhancing economic mobility for STARs (workers Skilled Through Alternative Routes).
• Foster strategic partnerships and broaden a national network comprising employers, workforce organizations, technology partners, and philanthropic entities, while translating coalition strategies into quantifiable business and mission outcomes.
• Collaborate across various departments including Engagement, Marketing, Communications, and Resource Mobilization.
• Enhance the Coalition's value proposition, expand membership and revenue streams, and establish it as a pivotal player in revolutionizing hiring practices.
• Over 10 years of executive leadership experience in coalition or movement building, business development, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem engagement.
• Proven success in closing revenue deals with senior executives across membership, sponsorship, corporate partnerships, philanthropic efforts, and earned-revenue models.
• Evidence of ability to design coalitions, networks, or movements that expand through both targeted recruitment and organic growth, along with a solid track record of “product management” for a coalition or network.
• In-depth knowledge of the U.S. workforce ecosystem (including employers, talent developers, workforce intermediaries, policy actors, and the integration of AI and technology in hiring), or a demonstrated capability to rapidly learn an adjacent ecosystem.
• Established executive presence; adept at representing the organization in external engagements, with the media, and at events that shape the field.
• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives across both customer-facing and operational areas within complex organizations.
• Strong leadership capabilities with a coaching mindset; skilled at fostering clarity and accountability in uncertain environments.
• Systems-level thinking to synchronize growth, engagement, narrative, and brand strategies across different functions.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; capable of articulating complex coalition strategies in a clear and persuasive manner for senior executives, practitioners, funders, and public audiences.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels, embodying both coach and player roles.
• Proven maturity and judgment in managing high-stakes situations and sensitive cross-functional dynamics.
• Dedication to STARs, skills-based hiring, and the mission of Opportunity@Work.
• Full-time remote role available within the continental United States.
• Expected travel of approximately 10–15% for leadership meetings, partner engagement, and significant events.
