This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and sustain integrated Scientific Communication Platforms (SCPs) for all programs.
• Transform scientific and clinical data into engaging, evidence-based scientific narratives.
• Maintain messaging consistency across publications, congresses, medical education, and stakeholder interactions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synchronize scientific and business objectives.
• Direct global publication planning processes throughout the portfolio.
• Formulate annual and multi-year publication strategies that align with development milestones.
• Supervise the creation of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and oral presentations.
• Manage publication agencies, medical writers, and external vendors effectively.
• Ensure compliance with ICMJE, GPP, and publication ethics standards.
• Spearhead scientific congress planning and content strategies.
• Oversee the development of congress materials and scientific presentations.
• Assist in organizing advisory boards, investigator meetings, and scientific exchange activities.
• Craft scientific narratives that convey the unique value of Solid’s platforms and programs.
• Aid in the preparation of scientific materials for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs leadership to outline evidence-generation strategies and scientific leadership objectives.
• Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) required.
• 8–12+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Publications, or Clinical Development.
• Proven expertise in publication planning, scientific narrative development, and SCP creation.
• Strong understanding of the rare disease and gene therapy sectors is preferred.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and strategic communication skills.
