This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Develop the integrated communications strategy for OPX, ensuring alignment with our objectives across Nuclear Fuel, Instrumentation & Control, Parts, and Outage & Maintenance Services.
• Provide counsel to OPX senior leadership on messaging, enhancing executive visibility, fostering employee engagement, managing reputation, and facilitating partner communications.
• Lead a team of communication professionals by setting priorities, overseeing workloads, and enhancing execution throughout the portfolio.
• Collaborate with business, commercial, operations, legal, government affairs, marketing, and Global Communications teams to support growth, customer engagement, and operational goals.
• Manage internal communications that link employees to the business strategy, reinforce values, and promote alignment across geographically diverse teams.
• Direct external communications, thought leadership, media opportunities, industry events, and content creation to enhance OPX's visibility and market position.
• Ensure message consistency, brand alignment, and editorial discipline across OPX communication channels while customizing content for specific audiences and departments.
• Set communications objectives, monitor outcomes, and leverage insights to enhance program effectiveness.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or public relations is preferred.
• Over 10 years of communications experience, including leadership roles in corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, employee communications, media relations, or related fields.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing communication professionals, managing performance, and building a high-performing team.
• Experience advising senior executives and business leaders, translating priorities into clear and engaging communications strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create messaging and dynamic visual content.
• Familiarity with supporting complex teams, technical organizations, or regulated industries; experience in nuclear, energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is preferred.
• Outstanding writing, editing, verbal communication, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to simplify complex technical and operational subjects for both internal and external audiences.
• Experience in executing integrated communications plans that foster employee engagement, reputation management, commercial objectives, customer interaction, and organizational change.
• Solid understanding of AP style, brand standards, media relations, digital communications, and social media strategy.
