• Develop and take ownership of a comprehensive sales training and effectiveness strategy that aligns with launch milestones and commercial goals.
• Create a clear capability model for the field that encompasses disease education, product knowledge, sales techniques, account management, and compliant execution.
• Act as the primary point of accountability for ensuring field readiness and training excellence.
• Lead the onboarding and certification process for the sales force, guaranteeing their preparedness for launch.
• Design and implement training for launches, including POA meetings, workshops, and reinforcement strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Compliance to ensure content is aligned, accurate, and has received necessary approvals.
• Construct and deliver ongoing training programs to facilitate continuous performance enhancement.
• Develop coaching and leadership capabilities for first-line and second-line field leaders.
• Utilize blended learning methods (live, virtual, digital, field-based) to enhance training effectiveness.
• Enhance field force performance by ensuring training and field insights are aligned with commercial strategies and execution.
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Commercial Analytics to identify skill gaps, performance patterns, and execution opportunities.
• Establish performance metrics to evaluate and optimize launch effectiveness and training/field performance.
• Convert field insights into specialized training and enablement initiatives.
• Function as a strategic liaison among Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Compliance.
• Ensure uniform messaging, execution standards, and compliance across all roles that interact with customers.
• Onboard and oversee external training vendors and learning partners.
• MBA or bachelor’s degree.
• Over 10 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in cardiovascular and/or chronic care is highly desirable.
• Proven capability to operate strategically while ensuring flawless execution.
• Familiarity with MLR/promotional review processes and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements for field-facing materials.
• Knowledge of learning technologies and CRM-enabled training tools (e.g., Veeva, LMS platforms).
• A builder mindset characterized by high personal accountability, resourcefulness, and a collaborative attitude.
• Successful experience in leading cross-functional teams and agency partners effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to guide teams through uncertainty and establish clear direction.
