This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Responsible for managing top-line sales and renewal metrics for all Risk & Fraud offerings provided to U.S. State and Local Government agencies.
• Building and guiding a high-performing sales and retention team through effective recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Leading Sales Management Teams to secure new client acquisitions and foster relationships with existing clients throughout the region.
• Analyzing sales data and metrics to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Collaborating with Marketing and Proposition teams to create compelling value propositions and develop cohesive lead generation strategies.
• Establishing efficient sales processes, methodologies, and best practices to boost productivity and effectiveness.
• Accurately forecasting sales activities, pipeline developments, and revenue achievements.
• Overseeing the sales budget and managing expenditures related to sales operations.
• Partnering closely with other executives to ensure sales strategies align with overall business objectives.
• Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Thomson Reuters's products and services, the competitive landscape, and target markets.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in sales and retention leadership, ideally within the State & Local government sector.
• A self-driven leader with a strong competitive spirit aimed at achieving success.
• A proven history of surpassing sales goals, increasing revenue, and cultivating satisfied, loyal, and referenceable customers.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to influence all organizational levels.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Experience managing sales teams spread across multiple locations.
• A solid track record of recruiting, developing, motivating, and retaining a high-performing sales workforce.
