This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Establish and meet ambitious growth objectives that align with the overall business goals of the company.
• Create and execute comprehensive full-cycle sales strategies to generate new sales opportunities and expand PEX's market share.
• Identify and prioritize crucial growth opportunities and target markets.
• Provide practical coaching and mentorship to the sales team, cultivating a culture of ongoing learning and professional development to boost performance and drive sales growth.
• Serve as a player-coach by engaging in key sales activities and initiatives, leading by example to showcase effective sales techniques and strategies while directly impacting the company's growth targets.
• Guide and develop team members to create a high-performing, motivated workforce.
• Lead by example, exhibiting strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Design and implement effective go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new partner and product launches.
• Develop a successful flywheel strategy to ensure partner relationships effectively generate new leads for sales and enhance customer success by driving new prospects and increased revenue.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective market approaches.
• Work alongside marketing to refine product positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize market penetration.
• Efficiently allocate team resources to support strategic initiatives.
• Ensure optimal resource utilization, including budget management and ROI analysis.
• Implement and manage performance metrics to evaluate the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct extensive market research to uncover emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
• Leverage data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of growth strategies and business development efforts.
• Regularly communicate growth performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Adjust strategies and tactics based on performance data and market feedback.
• Collaborate with marketing, product development, client success, and other departments to align growth initiatives.
• Ensure transparent and consistent communication of growth strategies and objectives throughout the organization.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to advocate for growth initiatives.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven strategic leadership skills, including the ability to develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies in a leading sales, partnerships, and/or go-to-market expansion role.
• Significant experience in establishing sales team structures in primarily outbound/"hunting" capacities.
• Expertise in managing channel and integration partnerships; experience with strategic alliances and referral partners is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to identify emerging trends, ideal customer profiles (ICP), ROI, and the competitive landscape.
• Proficient in effectively allocating and managing team resources.
• Experience in navigating ambiguous, entrepreneurial environments is a plus.
• Demonstrates empathy, tact, and composure under pressure; self-starter.
