This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the enterprise strategy for revenue recovery, focusing on denials management, A/R follow-up, appeals, and addressing underpayment issues.
• Formulate and implement initiatives aimed at decreasing write-offs, enhancing overturn rates, and expediting cash collections.
• Detect and reclaim revenue from claims that have been previously written-off or underpaid through targeted audits and recovery initiatives.
• Establish and track critical KPIs, including A/R aging, denial rates, recovery yield, and metrics for cash acceleration.
• Conduct root cause analysis on denial trends and implement strategies for enterprise-wide prevention.
• Collaborate closely with Coding, Clinical, Billing, Compliance, and Payer Strategy teams to minimize revenue leakage and enhance claim accuracy.
• Supervise the management of escalations for intricate payer disputes, high-value accounts, and systemic recovery challenges.
• Lead the standardization of workflows, policies, and recovery strategies across various clients or regions.
• Deliver executive-level reporting and insights to senior leadership, highlighting financial impacts, trends, and optimization opportunities.
• Build and cultivate high-performing recovery and A/R teams, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in the revenue cycle, with substantial expertise in A/R, denials, and revenue recovery.
• A proven track record of enhancing cash collections, denial overturn rates, and revenue recovery results.
• In-depth understanding of payer strategies, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory standards.
• Experience in leading large-scale revenue cycle operations across multiple sites or clients.
• Demonstrated capability to utilize analytics and reporting to drive improvements in operational and financial performance.
• Proficient in executive-level communication and adept at stakeholder management.
