This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic direction and oversee the development and execution of strategic plans.
• Cultivate relationships with the Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
• Directly lead, facilitate, and supervise the Leadership Team.
• Promote a positive, affirming, and inclusive organizational culture.
• Establish and maintain connections with volunteers, donors, partner organizations, and community leaders.
• Implement effective decision-making processes at all levels.
• Assist in identifying and recruiting potential board members while supporting Board objectives.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and refine a sustainable management structure for programs.
• Oversee the development, management, and evaluation of Trans Lifeline’s programs.
• Lead the organization’s commitment to serving the BIPOC community.
• Supervise fundraising strategies, donor and funder relationships, major gifts, events, and revenue targets.
• Act as the primary spokesperson in media interviews, public speaking events, and public forums.
• Manage communications, marketing, press strategies, and the development of the annual report.
• Supervise the Administration Director and oversee daily operations.
• Ensure fiscal responsibility and clear communication of financial information.
• Create position descriptions and performance review guidelines.
• Determine staff and contractor compensation and benefits in collaboration with the Finance and People & Culture teams.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in senior leadership within a service-oriented organization.
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, communications, and strategic planning.
• Proven experience in staff management.
• Ability to foster and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a remote work environment.
• Knowledge of and experience in direct-service crisis intervention, mental health, and/or social services sectors.
• Proficiency in or willingness to quickly learn Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, CRM/fundraising platforms, QuickBooks, and Bill.com.
• Ability to lead an inclusive workplace and engage across diverse backgrounds in class, race, gender, sexuality, and other areas of diversity.
• Deep commitment to and passion for the organization’s mission and values.
• Thorough understanding of current and historical issues relevant to the trans and GNC community.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
