Senior Director – Revenue Integrity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Formulates organizational strategies for hospitals and professional revenue integrity on an enterprise level, encompassing both long-term objectives and annual targets.

• Directs the creation of policies related to charging, charge capture, validation, charge reconciliation, CDM governance, and the integrity of documentation.

• Manages the integration of revenue integrity operations across various clinical departments, including SOM leadership, Patient Financial Services, the Office of Compliance & Privacy, HIM, and Coding.

• Acts as a thought leader and change agent, promoting innovation, automation, and the adoption of best practices within the revenue integrity functions.

• Guarantees the timely, accurate, and compliant execution of all charge capture activities, CDM maintenance, reconciliations, and revenue validation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in hospital and/or professional revenue integrity, charge capture, CDM governance, HIM, coding, or revenue cycle functions is required.

• At least 5 years of EPIC experience (including HB/PB billing, clinical documentation, and charge capture technologies) is required.

• Experience in an academic medical center is required.

• Membership in the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the American Academy of Professional Coders, or the American Health Information Management Association is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of healthcare revenue cycle functions, including registration, coding and documentation standards, billing and collection processes, along with government and payer regulations.
