
Senior Director, Resource Management, Global Clinical Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive global budget and resource management/utilization within GCO.
• Formulate the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Establish and enhance strategic and operational processes for functional and study Opex, as well as workforce budgeting and oversight.
• Collaborate closely with members of the Office of GCO, GCO Leadership, Finance, HR, and key functional leaders.
• Evaluate resource needs, promote data-driven decision-making, and develop resource allocation strategies.
• Maintain precise resource records, monitor resource utilization, and identify potential resource limitations.
• Act as a strategic consultant to the GCO leadership team regarding resource-related decisions.
• Facilitate cross-functional resource review meetings to optimize resource planning and utilization.
• Spearhead the creation of dashboards and metrics for capacity utilization and workforce optimization.
• Build and lead a compact, high-performing global resource management network across Global Clinical Operations.
• An advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline is required.
• A Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, or an MBA or Master's degree with over 8 years of experience is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 12+ years (with a Bachelor's) or 8+ years (with an MBA or Master's) of experience in clinical development, clinical operations, or business operations roles, including at least 5 years leading global resource or workforce management functions in a pharmaceutical or CRO setting.
• Proven experience in implementing capacity planning, demand forecasting, and headcount management processes within a 1000+ employee organization.
• Desired expertise in resource management tools (e.g., Anaplan, Planisware, Smartsheet, or equivalent enterprise systems).
• Experience in managing both internal and outsourced resource models (FSPs, CROs, contractors).
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word) and resource planning/analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan).
• Experience with AI-driven resource management is a plus.
