Senior Director – Program Executive, Missionforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead intricate, multi-workstream transformations, strategic accounts, and enterprise implementations.

• Take ownership of the complete program P&L, including forecasting, budget governance, margin accountability, and financial controls.

• Guide Salesforce project teams, encompassing both direct and indirect team members as well as third-party system integrators.

• Facilitate steering committees and oversee executive customer relationships through the C-suite.

• Establish program strategy, management approach, governance, objectives, outcomes, and success KPIs.

• Supervise end-to-end service delivery and ensure contractual commitments are met.

• Manage scope changes with customers and authorize amendments as required.

• Utilize AI tools and agentic workflows to enhance delivery efficiency and customer results.

• Promote the adoption and utilization of Salesforce, AI, and Agentforce capabilities.

• Align IT strategy, governance, processes, and stakeholder decisions with customer outcomes.

• Anticipate, mitigate, and manage delivery risks, escalating issues with proposed solutions.

• Mentor and develop Salesforce Professional Services team members.

• Contribute to internal delivery processes, artifacts, and methodologies.

• Cultivate and enhance executive business relationships with Sales, Success, Technology & Product, and Support.

• Develop multi-threaded account relationships and create delivery-originated pipeline.

• Advise customers, partners, and internal teams on technology transformation in Defense & National Security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience utilizing AI productivity tools, automation, or agentic workflows in a professional services or program delivery setting.

• 12+ years of experience in professional services or consulting delivery.

• A history of leading large, complex programs ($10M+) with quantifiable business outcomes.

• 5+ years of experience leading large, cross-functional delivery teams across diverse geographies and workstreams.

• Experience overseeing engagement-level program financials, forecasting, revenue control, earned value analysis, contingency management, and delivered versus bid margin.

• Comprehensive knowledge of system development, implementation, and operational readiness.

• Experience leading steering committee and executive-level customer relationships.

• Background in executing structured sales-to-delivery handoffs or similar intake processes.

• Ability to proactively identify and escalate delivery risks.

• Capability to collaborate across global time zones and regions.

• Exceptional executive presence along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to function as a fully billable individual contributor.

• U.S. citizenship (either U.S. born or naturalized) without dual citizenship.

• Successful completion of a background investigation.

• Secret level clearance or higher.

• Preference for applicants located in the DC Metro area.

• Practical experience in delivering Agentforce or similar enterprise AI platform implementations.

• PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification, or equivalent demonstrated program management expertise.

• Agile SCRUM Master certification.

• 10+ years of experience using and/or implementing Salesforce core products, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

• Salesforce platform certifications are mandatory as part of the role.

• Expertise in the Defense & National Security domain.

• Experience with outcomes-based or fixed-fee delivery models.

• Proficiency in negotiating and resolving conflicts within a delivery context.

• Bachelor's degree is required.
