This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee daily engagement delivery and manage client expectations, ensuring prompt resolution of issues that arise and maintaining all relevant communications with clients and the Managing Director.
• Maintain comprehensive tracking of tasks and deliverables.
• Guarantee the quality and punctuality of all deliverables.
• Prepare final estimates and monitor any budget discrepancies or shortfalls.
• Provide status updates regarding progress on all current engagements.
• Supervise scope and financial aspects of engagements while helping to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting deliverable targets.
• Monitor engagements to ensure compliance with scope and contractual obligations.
• Manage the quality of delivery and communicate any issues to the client and Managing Director as they arise.
• Oversee performance management for engagement teams.
• Estimate and define new project opportunities to support Oxford sales professionals.
• Develop estimates and budgets for new engagements.
• Identify and expand new business projects within both existing and new accounts.
• Coach and mentor IT staffing professionals to enhance their ability to sell new IT services and create opportunities within existing accounts.
• Assist current Oxford sales team members in positioning, proposing, selling, and finalizing new IT services engagements.
• Cultivate and sustain executive and managerial relationships with clients.
• Be assigned one area of Subject Matter Expertise to support the business, such as Specific Solutions, Project Management, Methodology Framework, and Technology Enablement.
• Act as Performance Manager for up to five (5) individuals at the manager or engagement delivery coordinator level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Information Systems; an MBA is preferred.
• Experience in Big 5 consulting (or a similar environment) at the Manager or Senior Manager level.
• A minimum of 10 years of consulting experience.
• At least 10 years of industry-specific experience related to the designated focus area.
• Proven ability to manage, prioritize, solve complex problems, and sell in a consultative manner.
• Prior experience overseeing team performance with at least five (5) professionals simultaneously.
• Successfully manage engagement teams consisting of at least ten (10) professionals for each engagement.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact at all organizational levels are essential.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced features in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with project management principles, methodologies, and alternative delivery methods such as Agile.
• Experience with onboarding and offboarding associates/consultants at client sites.
• Knowledge of project/program portfolio management, tracking, and collaboration tools such as Clarity, HP PPM, PlanView, SharePoint, OWB, MS Project, Jira, TFS, etc.
• Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
• Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency to fulfill client needs.
• Experience in resource planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
