Senior Director, Product Services – RCM

Posted Jul 20

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the commercialization process for Innovaccer's managed services offerings. We are in search of a product manager who recognizes that RCM Services is the core product.

• Create and sustain a detailed services catalog that includes service descriptions, scope parameters, and delivery expectations.

• Write and oversee SKU definitions that align with how sales teams configure and quote service agreements.

• Prepare and keep updated Statement of Work (SOW) templates that accurately capture deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.

• Establish pricing structures and models that encompass per-transaction, per-claim, and outcome-based frameworks.

• Collaborate with marketing to create positioning, messaging, and collateral that enhance services attachment and pipeline development.

• Spearhead the organizational initiative to integrate AI into the service delivery model.

• Create a structured roadmap for the adoption of AI and automation tools across service operations.

• Develop internal business cases that quantify efficiency improvements, error reduction, and capacity impacts.

• Lead change management efforts by partnering directly with service team leaders to foster comfort with AI-assisted workflows.

• Set adoption metrics and report on AI utilization, impact, and ROI to senior leadership.

• Identify areas where the services organization is losing time, accuracy, or throughput, linking those gaps to specific AI or automation opportunities.

• Conduct systematic reviews of service workflows to uncover inefficiencies in coding, authorization, documentation, and billing processes.

• Prioritize operational improvement opportunities based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.

• Produce precise and detailed documentation that engineers and product teams require to confidently automate or enhance clinical and billing workflows.

• Manage the services automation capability roadmap, ensuring that the backlog reflects both strategic priorities and operational demands.

• Provide weekly status updates across commercialization and automation workstreams.

• Monitor activities, milestones, and blockers across cross-functional teams; escalate issues proactively.

• Develop and manage project plans that include clearly defined ownership, timelines, and dependencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in health IT product management, services strategy, or RCM operations.

• Extensive knowledge of revenue cycle workflows: prior authorization, medical coding & CDI, and denial management.

• Familiarity with payer operations, including EDI X12, FHIR R4, and Da Vinci implementation guides.

• Practical experience in services commercialization — pricing, SKU design, SOW development, or go-to-market strategies.

• Outcomes-based commercialization and growth enablement experience.

• Proven track record in documenting workflows for automation development or AI-assisted automation.

• Human-in-the-loop design experience is a plus.

• Ability to assess automation feasibility and clearly articulate trade-offs among RPA, rule-based logic, and ML approaches.

• Experience in promoting the adoption of new technologies within clinical or operational teams.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority, using influence as the primary tool.

• Executive-level communication skills; equally effective in a boardroom and during sprint reviews.

• Strong writing abilities for producing SOWs, service descriptions, workflow specifications, and business cases.

• Strong project management instincts with a history of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programs.

• Disciplined approach to reporting, tracking, and escalation — ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

• Comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where structure is created rather than inherited.
