
Senior Director, Product Management – Check Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Define and articulate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Check Intelligence business.
• Convert check processing requirements, deposit workflows, check fraud insights, customer expectations, regulatory obligations, and market opportunities into well-defined product requirements and investment priorities.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, fraud specialists, and operations to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing check intelligence functionalities.
• Oversee roadmap planning and prioritization across areas such as fraud prevention, deposit decision-making, image quality, risk signals, APIs, analytics, operational tools, and customer-facing features.
• Manage and mentor a team of product managers, assisting them in enhancing product discovery, requirement quality, stakeholder engagement, execution discipline, and business ownership.
• Set and track product KPIs, including fraud detection effectiveness, false positive rates, customer adoption, revenue growth, operational efficiency, deposit completion rates, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer success, implementation, and support teams to facilitate customer discussions, roadmap alignment, go-to-market readiness, and product adoption.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 10 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in leadership roles managing product teams or product managers.
• Experience managing complex B2B, SaaS, API-driven, financial services, fraud prevention, risk management, payments, or banking technology products.
• In-depth knowledge of check processing, mobile deposits, deposit review workflows, financial institution operations, and check fraud prevention.
• Familiarity with check fraud trends and common fraud typologies, such as duplicate presentment, altered checks, counterfeit checks, forged endorsements, account takeover-related deposit fraud, mule activity, and coordinated fraud rings.
• Proven experience in building or managing fraud detection, risk scoring, decisioning, analytics, workflow, or intelligence products.
• Demonstrated capability to define product strategy, develop roadmaps, prioritize effectively, and drive execution across engineering and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical abilities, including comfort with product metrics, fraud performance metrics, customer usage data, business cases, and outcome-based reporting.
