Senior Director, Product & Experience Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the representative voice for homeowners and professionals within Thumbtack.

• Collaborate with product and senior leadership to define the product vision and strategy.

• Lead the Product Marketing team to establish positioning and narrative for products in alignment with the roadmap.

• Set the strategic direction for Experience Marketing, integrating Lifecycle, Landing Page optimization, and Content Marketing.

• Work directly with the CPO, CCO, and Growth leadership to prioritize the roadmap, develop go-to-market strategies, and ensure commercial alignment.

• Clearly communicate your team’s strategy and results to senior leadership.

• Cultivate your team, establish clear accountability, and promote a strong marketing environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a combination of both.

• Extensive experience leading high-performing teams at the Senior Director level (or equivalent) in a high-growth environment.

• Proven history of collaborating closely with product teams.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing positioning and messaging frameworks for diverse audiences and a complex product portfolio.

• Preferred background in a two-sided marketplace.

• A well-defined perspective on how segmentation, personalization, and behavioral data should influence user communication.

• Strong instincts for collaboration across functions and established trust with product, engineering, and commercial teams.

• A dedication to team development and the creation of clear accountability structures.
