This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete Product delivery process for Satellite, Streaming Managed Hardware – Gemini, and BYOD platforms, serving as the definitive point of accountability for timely execution of the DIRECTV product roadmap.
• Act as the escalation authority for delivery concerning Product, Advertising, Commercial, and related platform roadmaps.
• Collaborate with and ensure accountability among VP- and AVP-level Engineering leaders when execution faces potential risks.
• Lead and cultivate a manager-of-managers structure encompassing multiple Directors and a substantial team of Product Owners/Managers.
• Oversee vendor and contingent resources, including management of vendors and budgets.
• Direct the delivery of a comprehensive roadmap that includes hundreds of epics and thousands of features and user stories across various Program Increments.
• Manage Program Increment planning, inspections, and standards for story quality.
• Supervise Product delivery in alignment with a multi-million-dollar annual Engineering budget.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of vendor/contingent budgets and establish platform KPI standards alongside delivery governance.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in product development, including leadership roles in a large, matrixed technology or media organization.
• At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer/developer.
• Proven responsibility for product delivery at scale.
• Experience managing a multi-million-dollar engineering/vendor budget.
• A history of leading organizations reliant on vendors and contingent workers, including vendor selection, performance oversight, and budget management.
• Demonstrated success in operating as a senior escalation authority and facilitating delivery with VP- and AVP-level engineering and cross-functional partners.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is required.
• Extensive knowledge of Agile/SAFe delivery at scale, including PI planning, epic/feature/story management, inspection, and delivery governance.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence across functions.
• Rigorous program and budget management with a data-oriented approach to platform KPIs, story quality, and throughput.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and story quality tools, as well as enterprise backlog/roadmap management platforms like Confluence, Jira, or Azure DevOps-class tools.
• Knowledge of Satellite, Streaming Managed Hardware – Gemini, and BYOD platforms such as Roku, Tizen, FireTV, Android, Apple, LG, and Vizio.
• Understanding of how to leverage Claude, ChatGPT, and/or Copilot to enhance product development and management deliverables and processes.
• A background check may be necessary.
• Qualified candidates with arrest and conviction records will be considered in accordance with local ordinances and state law.
• Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the United States, excluding Alaska.
• Occasional travel required, approximately once every 1–2 months, depending on location.

• Base salary is exclusive; bonuses and benefits are offered in addition to the stated salary range.
