This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the design strategy and implementation for a wide range of interconnected product experiences.
• Articulate and share an inspiring design vision for a large, cohesive product portfolio.
• Convert company and product strategies into experience principles, customer journeys, design priorities, and measurable results.
• Spot opportunities to integrate fragmented workflows into seamless, AI-enhanced experiences that enable customers to operate more efficiently and achieve superior results.
• Advocate for the customer, overseeing the complete experience and quality standards in high-level product and business discussions.
• Guide the advancement of HighLevel's custom design system as a functional product accelerator, rather than merely a collection of components.
• Collaborate with design system, product design, and engineering leaders to enhance shared patterns, component quality, interaction standards, and contribution models.
• Work collaboratively across various product teams and functions to transform a new design system into a unified method of building, aligning designers, PMs, engineers, and go-to-market partners around coherent experience standards.
• Promote system adoption among product teams by simplifying usability, encouraging contributions, and linking it clearly to product quality and execution speed.
• Foster a culture where speed and quality complement rather than conflict with each other.
• Over 10 years of experience in product design, UX, or related fields, including more than 5 years in a leadership role for design teams.
• Demonstrated experience leading design initiatives across large, intricate B2B SaaS, platforms, or multi-product ecosystems.
• Exceptional visual skills and top-tier interaction and product design instincts, with a track record of elevating the quality of team output.
• Proven success in developing, refining, or accelerating the adoption of a design system across multiple product teams.
• Demonstrated capability to lead senior individual contributors and design managers across various teams or product areas.
• Strong portfolio showcasing product strategy, systems thinking, design craftsmanship, measurable customer impact, and business outcomes.
• Extensive experience with complex workflows, information architecture, interaction design, design systems, research, and experimentation.
• Proven ability to recruit outstanding designers, enhance existing talent, and manage the performance of team members in need of additional support.
• Solid understanding of product and business metrics, including activation, adoption, conversion, retention, expansion, churn, LTV, and customer ROI.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership to define strategy, priorities, roadmaps, and success metrics.
• Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with distributed teams and high ownership expectations.
