This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Lead the product roadmap for Avo’s range of products and platform infrastructure, ensuring a balance between immediate customer value and long-term platform differentiation.
• Convert insights gathered from customers, clinicians, sales, and market research into a defined product strategy, transforming intricate clinical workflows and user requirements into actionable product specifications and unique customer value.
• Turn complex clinical scenarios into product specifications that can be implemented by engineering and easily recognized by customers.
• Exhibit profound expertise in UI/UX design by simplifying complex clinical workflows and product functionalities into intuitive, scalable, and user-focused experiences. Champion user-centered design best practices to enhance usability, adoption, and measurable customer value through strategic interaction and visual design.
• Collaborate with implementation and customer success teams to ensure alignment between our commitments, delivered products, and actual bedside efficacy.
• Work closely with engineering leads to define, prioritize, and deliver features—from initial specifications to rollout and iteration—while monitoring adoption, engagement, and various impact metrics.
• Clarify requirements and trade-offs to facilitate engineering progress rather than complicating processes.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration among distributed Product and Engineering teams, establishing effective operational rhythms and communication practices that promote swift execution across different time zones.
• Maintain a keen awareness of emerging AI technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes to shape the strategic direction of Avo products.
• Act as a product authority during sales cycles and customer discussions, aiding in closing and retaining enterprise accounts.
• Mentor junior product team members and contribute to cultivating Avo's product culture as the team expands.
• Over 7 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead PM capacity.
• Experience in clinical decision support or enterprise SaaS within regulated industries is advantageous.
• Practical experience in building or overseeing AI-powered product experiences, with a clear understanding of how LLM capabilities and limitations influence user-facing workflows and UX.
• Proven history of launching complex, multi-stakeholder products and refining them for scalability.
• Strong instincts for product strategy, with the ability to identify the right problems to address before proposing solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of drafting clear specifications, delivering effective demonstrations, and engaging confidently with health system executives.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineering and clinical teams, possessing enough understanding of technical architecture to conduct meaningful trade-off discussions.
• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment, adaptable to ambiguity and capable of swift decision-making.
• Ability to work across US and Asia-Pacific time zones, including early morning or evening hours as necessary.
• Willingness to travel to Korea 2–3 times annually, with each trip lasting approximately one week. This travel is essential; dedicated in-person engagement is a fundamental aspect of the role.
