This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a global strategy for incorporating BioAnalytical Services into a comprehensive product offering for drug development.
• Ensure that annual targets for quality, scientific integrity, and client service are consistently met.
• Create and execute plans, policies, and procedures that align with both departmental and corporate standards.
• Allocate personnel, space, and equipment resources to fulfill financial and budgetary expectations.
• Formulate operational and scientific strategies that support business objectives, promote sustainable growth, and drive innovation.
• Oversee development and renovation projects while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Implement employee development initiatives aimed at enhancing scientific expertise and operational excellence.
• Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee performance, career growth, and expectations.
• Cultivate a dynamic work environment and address any performance issues effectively.
• Ensure scientific objectivity, credibility, and expertise across all research and operational activities.
• Enforce departmental safety programs in collaboration with environmental, health, and safety teams.
• Improve employee communication and assist in recruitment and retention efforts.
• Provide strategic leadership and governance for global Project Management and Client Engagement functions.
• Drive strategy, organizational structure, and standardized processes to enhance collaboration and stakeholder partnerships.
• Deliver integrated services and innovative solutions that foster scientific advancement and support financial objectives.
• Take ownership of the execution of Project Management and Client Engagement strategies for a unified BioAnalytical service model.
• Align project management capabilities, resources, and infrastructure with organizational priorities and portfolio requirements.
• Advocate for the BioAnalytical vision across the enterprise and the broader Drug Development organization.
• Lead staff delivering BioAnalytical services and ensure client satisfaction in multidisciplinary drug development initiatives.
• Collaborate across various functions including BioAnalytical Services, Central Laboratories, Early Development, and Drug Development teams.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Immunology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of supervisory and people management experience, preferably in an operational leadership capacity.
• At least 10 years of experience leading client-facing medium-to-large laboratory organizations.
• Full responsibility for enterprise collaboration, project management governance, operational excellence, and sustained financial performance.
• Strong independent management skills and the ability to implement departmental and corporate directives.
• Proven leadership experience in motivating teams and achieving exceptional outcomes.
• Documented achievements that reflect teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
