This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more locations.
• Define and enhance a contemporary, scalable delivery operating model within PSET, which includes planning frameworks, governance, and collaborative rituals.
• Innovate the portfolio and TPM practice to become AI-native by developing scalable tools and decision-support systems.
• Lead and advance a high-performing TPM and Portfolio organization.
• Enhance technical program and portfolio leadership in areas such as prioritization, cross-functional execution, PDLC practices, and stakeholder alignment.
• Provide executive-ready insights into program health, progress, capacity, risks, milestones, and inter-team dependencies.
• Oversee portfolio governance across the platform stack, which encompasses prioritization, sequencing, trade-offs, capacity visibility, investment, risk, and value assessment.
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of intricate, high-impact platform initiatives from problem framing and planning through to delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Act as the senior escalation authority for complex, cross-organizational program challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture leaders on system dependencies, architectural considerations, and operational realities.
• Support Platform Next’s AI-native engineering delivery model, facilitating quicker experimentation, AI-assisted development workflows, and data-driven feedback loops.
• Report directly to the VP of Platform Next and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and Data leaders.
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in technical program management, engineering program leadership, enterprise portfolio or program leadership, technology operations, consulting/PMO, or similar complex technology portfolio and cross-organizational execution roles.
• At least 7 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or program organizations, or equivalent leadership experience.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale, complex technology programs that involve multi-team execution, cross-organizational dependencies, and delivery risk management.
• Proven track record in owning portfolio execution strategy and governance, including prioritization frameworks, sequencing, trade-off decisions, and resource allocation across a multi-team technology portfolio.
• Proficient in software development lifecycle practices, engineering workflows, and AI-accelerated development environments, including AI-assisted workflows and rapid, experiment-driven iteration cycles.
• Strong systems thinking capabilities and the ability to analyze technical systems, dependencies, delivery risks, data, and metrics.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive alignment, and facilitate effective decision-making.
• Proven experience in building and leading program and portfolio organizations at scale, including organizational design, talent development, and leadership bench-building.
• Demonstrated capability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and learning.
• Proven ability to make and uphold challenging trade-off decisions under pressure and resolve cross-team conflicts.
• Preferred: Ability to analyze complex platform architectures, technical dependencies, and operational risk.
• Preferred: Experience in complex, enterprise-scale platform environments.
• Preferred: Experience across diverse operating environments or organizational cultures.
