This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Mentor cross-functional team members and create and implement strategic account plans for designated key accounts.
• Provide comprehensive account leadership and manage key accounts as a business unit for US Hematology Oncology.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Area Business Managers.
• Act as the central point for commercial communications regarding account planning, strategy, collaboration, resource allocation, and customer engagement.
• Develop strategic account plans and coordinate Sanofi resources to collaboratively enhance customer value and achieve or surpass revenue targets.
• Identify and assess account opportunities, formulating growth strategies, aligning teams, and fostering executive relationships.
• Facilitate account-team strategy sessions to promote customer value co-creation and internal alignment.
• Promote an inclusive culture while exemplifying Sanofi’s core values.
• Align regional vision and mission with corporate and business objectives, ensuring compliance and accountability.
• Direct account managers within the territory to enhance sales performance and customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Value & Market Access, Patient Support Services, and Operations teams.
• Manage account planning for next-tier, non-KAM targets and implement account-level strategies.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with hospitals and healthcare providers, supported by MA.
• Build relationships with key KOLs and executives at C- and D-level.
• Contribute to strategies at the regional, zone, and national levels.
• Develop expertise in oncology, multiple myeloma, products, disease states, delivery devices, and the competitive environment.
• Plan and execute key account initiatives and quarterly customer strategies.
• Enhance product access via formularies, order sets, and EHR optimization.
• Implement the On-body delivery system launch at priority accounts starting in 2026 and beyond.
• Analyze regional and territorial business metrics to provide performance insights and mentoring.
• Ensure compliant use of CRM by the sales team.
• Manage regional expenses within designated budgets.
• Lead or engage in internal meetings, proposing solutions as necessary.
• Develop content for cross-functional meetings, training workshops, agendas, and metrics post-meeting.
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of the team.
• Ensure adherence to corporate and industry policies and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in the hematology/oncology sector is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining talent while meeting revenue objectives.
• Experienced sales executive and recognized leader with advanced sales management skills and a solid history of achievements.
• Experience in major pharmaceutical and biotech companies is advantageous.
• Proven experience in selling oncologic products and familiarity with the “buy and bill” reimbursement process is highly preferred.
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience in a dynamic, execution-driven environment.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate Company strategies and their alignment with core values.
• Strong commitment to execution, results-oriented work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to attract and retain high-caliber sales talent.
• Ability to participate in and lead cross-functional teams, achieving results through collaboration with other commercial functions.
• Experience coordinating patient and provider support services, including specialty pharmacy, reimbursement services, nursing services, and specialty distributors.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for regional business activities, including customer visits, field coaching, and weekend conferences.
• MBA is preferred.
