This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement the payer-facing commercial strategy that facilitates extensive and sustainable access to the company’s products and services.
• Formulate the payer value narrative, drive engagement strategies with payers/customers, and collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Account Management, HEOR/Medical, Pricing & Contracting, Product Marketing, and Sales to enhance coverage.
• Take ownership of and refine the payer marketing strategy in alignment with the overall brand strategy, access objectives, and corporate priorities.
• Oversee the creation of the payer value proposition and supporting messaging across customer segments for prioritized brands.
• Manage and coach a high-performing payer marketing team; establish clear goals, development plans, and operational rhythms.
• Build strong payer/customer insight generation capabilities, including primary/secondary research, advisory boards, and competitive monitoring.
• Identify critical access barriers and leverage points; convert insights into quantifiable marketing objectives and tactics.
• Lead the creation and governance of payer-facing materials and programs.
• Doctorate degree and 5 years of experience in payer marketing, market access marketing, or related commercial roles within healthcare, biotech/pharma, or reimbursed digital health.
• OR Master’s degree and 9 years of experience in payer marketing, market access marketing, or related commercial roles within healthcare, biotech/pharma, or reimbursed digital health.
• OR Bachelor’s degree and 11 years of experience in payer marketing, market access marketing, or related commercial roles within healthcare, biotech/pharma, or reimbursed digital health.
• Experience in launching payer-facing deliverables and achieving access milestones from pre-launch to post-launch.
• Familiarity with AMCP dossiers, value frameworks, budget impact tools, and narratives for outcomes-based contracting.
• Strong analytical skills, including fluency with claims/coverage data, patient journey, and contracting/access analytics.
• Proven experience in implementing omnichannel programs for payer audiences.
