Senior Director, Organizational Effectiveness – Capability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with executive leaders and People Success Partners to ensure alignment of organizational strategies with enterprise and functional business objectives.

• Evaluate organizational effectiveness and pinpoint opportunities to enhance performance, scalability, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Spearhead organizational design projects, including the evolution of operating models, clarity of roles, team effectiveness, governance structures, and workforce alignment.

• Create recommendations that balance business requirements, employee experiences, organizational health, and long-term growth goals.

• Ensure that organizational structures facilitate career development, talent mobility, leadership efficacy, and employee engagement.

• Provide People Success Partners with frameworks, tools, and consultative expertise in organizational design, workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and change management to enhance strategic business partnerships and deliver impactful organizational solutions.

• Lead discussions with executive and functional leaders to align on organizational design principles, decision rights, operating model implications, and readiness for change.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

• Over 12 years of experience in organizational strategy, organizational effectiveness, human capital consulting, workforce strategy, transformation, talent management, or related fields.

• A blend of management consulting and in-house experience in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare is highly preferred.

• Proven track record in leading organizational transformation, workforce strategy, or enterprise capability-building initiatives.

• Strong skills in strategic thinking, facilitation, executive communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.

• Demonstrated ability to convert business strategy into actionable talent and organizational solutions.

• Experience in developing scalable frameworks, tools, and governance models that support consistent execution without unnecessary complexity.

• Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
