This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Senior Director of Sales will significantly influence our growth and play a vital role in implementing the Sales strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the sales cycle complexities within our sector and be adept at leveraging strong relationships in retail and eCommerce distribution, third-party logistics, and supply chain. You are enthusiastic about technology, foster a high-performance culture, and have a proven history of introducing and selling new technologies.
• Reporting directly to the VP of Sales, you will collaborate with the Sales team to generate customer and market insights, translating those insights into actionable strategies for attracting new customers and managing key client relationships.
• Create and implement a process, in collaboration with the Customer Support and marketing teams, to establish a sales pipeline that is three times your annual sales quota.
• Propel the sales process across E-Commerce, Retail, and 3rd Party Logistics (3PLs) by identifying and engaging with key executives, influencers, and decision-makers.
• Comprehend and articulate the value proposition of Ocado Intelligent Automation from both OpEx and CapEx perspectives.
• Leverage and guide members of the sales, solutions, deployment, and customer success teams to achieve successful outcomes and strengthen relationships throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Recent and substantial experience closing enterprise deals exceeding $1MM, which involve hardware, software, and professional services to CEO, CFO, COO, EVP, and SVP level executives at companies in the E-commerce, Retail, and 3rd Party Logistics sectors.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales quotas.
• As a contemporary sales professional, you regard your CRM as a crucial tool for achieving your objectives. You consistently keep your opportunities up-to-date without needing reminders, and you expect the same from your team.
• Ability to ask customers insightful questions, actively listen to their needs, and collaborate with MHE integrators to deliver a high-quality proposal tailored to customer requirements.
• Experience in qualifying and expanding accounts. The company receives interest from numerous prominent, well-known organizations, and we seek someone capable of navigating and developing these accounts. It is more about identifying the right prospects, securing the initial close, and expanding the client base.
• Lead the internal bidding process—developing solutions and guiding our internal team through the Evaluation → Budgetary Proposal → Final Proposal stages will require you to align the efforts and goals of our various internal team members. As the Senior Director of Sales, you will be the sales leader steering us through this process.
