Senior Director of Product Management, Core Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the comprehensive platform strategy, vision, and roadmap for BioSim and ChemSim, including decisions on building versus buying solutions.

• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of 5-6 Product Management Individual Contributors across ML Platform, Data, Agentic, Core Infrastructure, Trust, and Partner Integrations, while personally driving key deliverables until the team is fully established.

• Navigate and balance the competing needs of internal and external customers across various distinct areas.

• Create a data-informed operational framework: identify key metrics, present them during business reviews, align variances with OKRs, and drive necessary adjustments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a role managing individual contributors.

• Strong background in platform or infrastructure products, such as MLOps, data platforms, scientific engines, or developer tools.

• Proven history of developing and delivering enterprise-grade commercial platforms.

• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS and enterprise security/compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, FedRAMP) as well as API governance.

• Proven capability to succeed in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, transforming unclear customer challenges into scalable product solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable practical experience.

• MBA or similar business leadership experience is highly preferred.
