Senior Director of Product Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing Product Development team, which includes Directors, Product Managers, Developers, and Coordinators.

• Take ownership of the complete product development process from initial concept to commercialization in apparel and lifestyle categories.

• Recognize emerging trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities in casual sportswear, activewear, and lifestyle sectors.

• Collaborate closely with Creative, Merchandising, and Design teams to formulate category-leading product strategies and impactful initiatives.

• Set and implement best-in-class product development standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and commercialization workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in Product Development, Product Management, or Product Operations within the apparel, retail, or consumer goods sectors.

• Demonstrated experience in leading fast-paced, lean product development teams in rapidly growing environments.

• Proven track record in managing and guiding Directors, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams.

• Strong grasp of apparel product creation, commercialization, fit, materials, quality, costing, sourcing, and production processes.

• Experience across direct-to-consumer (DTC), retail, wholesale, and global business channels is preferred.

• Keen eye for product aesthetics, silhouette, fabric, color, and trend relevance within the active/lifestyle market.

• Experience with premium, fashion, activewear, or lifestyle brands is highly preferred.
