This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the long-term product roadmap as part of a comprehensive business strategy.

• Formulate a compelling product strategy by analyzing personas, use cases, customer advantages, and solution value propositions.

• Consistently and iteratively verify that business strategies are being effectively executed through product roadmaps.

• Lead team collaboration to manage and prioritize the product roadmap and releases across various products.

• Collaborate to constructively resolve conflicts when they arise.

• Ensure that product teams comprehend the necessary business outcomes and that these outcomes align with broader business goals or objectives.

• Identify and monitor performance metrics, including evergreen key performance indicators, to assess the overall health of the product and focus efforts on specific, measurable enhancements that drive positive outcomes.

• Facilitate discussions and coaching with product teams and relevant stakeholders to address gaps and implement necessary improvements.

• Identify and track Key Performance Metrics; accountable for ensuring that KPIs deliver the required business value.

• Ensure that roadmap outcomes fit within capacity constraints and are prioritized and sequenced to maximize customer value.

• Regularly engage with customers and users to uncover both implicit and explicit needs, translating these into product hypotheses that are tested and refined to provide solutions.

• Collaborate with product teams to create and implement operational plans.

• Research and identify industry best practices and trends to enhance effectiveness.

• Acquire, maintain, and apply advanced knowledge of the business, its products and processes, alongside an academic understanding of Product Management.

• Recruit, develop, and sustain a high-performing team while fostering a culture of shared accountability, operational excellence, and collaboration across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• 10+ years of relevant business experience, including roles as a product manager, product owner, or similar positions.

• Understand the fundamentals of iterative development, software development processes, and procedures.

• Expertise in Agile Product Management principles, stakeholder management, market and user research, technology management, and process design.

• High level of organization and meticulous attention to detail.

• Passion for and understanding of new technologies and trends.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across all organizational levels; strong facilitation and executive communication skills.

• Certified Product Manager or a similar certification (preferred).

• Prior supervisory experience may be beneficial (preferred).

• Strong capability to effectively manage and resolve conflicting priorities (preferred).

• Experience in developing and delivering product strategies, articulated in terms of value and outcomes with relevant and compelling metrics and measurements (preferred).

• Proficiency with foundational product management tools, techniques, and principles across the discovery, design, build, release, and measure cycles (preferred).

• Proven experience in leading and influencing cross-functional teams (preferred).

• Demonstrated experience with user interface design and best practices for usability (preferred).

• Experience working on large, complex organizational initiatives (preferred).

• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint (preferred).

• Skilled in financial management to oversee budgets across multiple products and ensure that the product meets its return on investment requirements (preferred).
