This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +26 more states.
• Oversee the long-term data strategy for the data analytics team, effectively managing internal development priorities alongside the advancing capabilities of third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with our internal data and engineering teams to design, construct, and maintain the data infrastructure.
• Ensure that our data architecture empowers analysts to operate at a macro level.
• Direct GO's analytics vision and measurement frameworks, encompassing retail health, advertising performance, brand growth, and operational efficiency.
• Assess third-party analytics and data platforms with a discerning approach.
• Work alongside Business Development, Retail, Operations, and Advertising leadership to synchronize data infrastructure and analytics capabilities with the organization’s growth objectives.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in analytics, data strategy, or similar roles; a minimum of 7 years in senior leadership positions, focused on building and managing teams.
• Extensive knowledge of Amazon Advertising and associated measurement tools, including AMC, Omnichannel Metrics, media mix modeling, etc.
• Proven history of evaluating analytics solutions and successfully advocating for the best options to meet team requirements.
• Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors, including contract negotiations and roadmap advocacy.
• Background in assessing and implementing AI platforms in a commercial setting; familiarity with data privacy regulations and responsible AI principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) is strongly preferred.
